Dr. Christine Rossberg
Dr. Christine Rossberg holds a degree in food chemistry. She completed her PhD at the Institute of Plant and Wood Chemistry at the Technical University Dresden in April 2016. She has strong experience in pulping and analytical methods for characterisation of biomass, pulp and lignin based on her participation in ERA-IB’s “Products from Lignocellulose”, HORIZON2020 funded projects such as “CarboPrec” and “SteamBio” as well as in several national funded projects. Dr. Rossberg works at the Fraunhofer Center for Chemical-Biotechnological Processes CBP since October 2015. Here, she acts as project leader in the group “Pretreatment and Fractionation of Renewable Feedstocks” (Group leader Dr. Moritz Leschinsky) and is involved in the development of an Organosolv-based biorefinery.
