Rosiane Vitor Caetano
Rosiane Caetano holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (Brazil, 2011). She received her MSc. degree in Water Technology from Wetsus Academy (The Netherlands, 2015). Her master’s thesis research focused on the investigation of causes of membrane fouling in ultrafiltration membrane applied to wastewater treatment. In 2015, in the chair of Urban Water Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, she worked in the field of membrane science, studying the minimization of scaling in reverse osmosis membrane and the agents responsible for fouling in ultrafiltration and nanofiltration membranes due to the feed and operational conditions. Previously, as a Chemical Engineer working in a consulting firm in the field of environmental solutions, she was responsible for making operations more sustainable, diagnosing the water and energy consumption and the management of solid wastes and wastewater and suggesting ways to efficiently handle those resources.
